There shouldn't be any loss of strength after a couple of months - or even after considerably longer, I think. It's probably just the "new bottle" thing. Each one feels slightly different from the last but I think it's pretty much all in the mind. It's all the same stuff .

^Correct. I doubt GBL would ever lose any potency, as long as it is stored right.

Everybody always comments on new bottles feeling different, or smelling different.

Yeah, but it's your brain that is different, not the liquid. Some people even thought that it was 1,4 B instead of GBL, which made me put mine in the freezer, to check if it froze. Of course, it was just regular GBL.

well I tried some from the new bottle and got wasted, the usual ammount.
Last night was my last dose from old bottle, I'd been taking 2 caps full, getting light headed and needing another cap. Tonight I'll take 2 caps and see

I don't so much think it's a change in your brain, as just weirdness with your memory.

You dose in caps? As in gel caps, I presume? Not bottle caps surely? Do you measure the dose in these caps?

As in these capsules : shuda made myself clearer

Each 1 holds about .8 mls

    Aha! Know I understand .

I would have thought that going up in 0.8ml jumps could get messy though. Personally, if 2 caps totalling 1.6ml wasn't doing it for me then going up from there in 0.1ml steps would be easier. the difference between 1.6ml and 2.4ml of Guice is pretty huge. It'd have me out cold .

Yea can be a big jump, however filling the cap half way would be a .4ml increment

I always use a syringe with GBL for safe and easy measuring - free from your local needle exchange

Yup, I know a thing or two about needle exchanges, Sunday .

I'd still say that 0.4ml is a big jump - 0.1ml steps make such a massive difference - but, as is often pointed out in this thread, it really does affect people differently. Besides, the worse that happens is passing out and having a spazz attack. Just so long as you keep the spazzing away from public view, it's all good .

    RULE 1: NO SOURCES
    • DO NOT post in any way that could be construed as giving or requesting a source for drugs.

    • DO NOT ask someone to private message or email you information about sources. This includes online or offline suppliers of illegal AND legal drugs, so research chemicals/salvia/pharmaceuticals etc. all fall under this rule. This is a board-wide rule (please familiarise yourself with the Bluelight User Agreement) and not specific to this forum. Any posts containing sources or requests for sources will be deleted immediately, without warning. Anyone overtly or covertly dealing on Bluelight may have their account deleted or suspended indefinitely.

please familiarise yourself with the rules.

i saw your post before the edit, and no that's still not allowed, seriously if you can't find a source for this on your own i'm surprised you can tie your own shoes

edit: sorry for being a dick but come onnn

What so your not allowed to ask for products that contain things? I've seen plenty of drug containing products all over bluelight.. OTC's especially.

And that's a bit rude tbh. I can't order things from online, so i have to find the products in shops.. Which will involve pickin up every degreaser i find looking for the words Gamma Butyrolactone which is just a waste of time when someone can say: Yeah "blah blah" has it in.

Again, I'm not asking for a supplier.

edit: That's ok.. I can be a bit slow sometimes

you were asking for a supplier you just edited your post while i was posting mine! i don't think you'll find it very easily in shops although i've heard of it in nail polish remover and superglue debonder.

It's NOT a good idea to put the GBL in capsules. You need to dilute it, otherwise it will irritate your stomach wall.

I disagree. GBL is strongly alkali (as far as I know), and your stomach is highly acidic. It should have the same effect as a couple of Rennie (except the high off Rennie is superior, obviously ). Also, don't bother trying to find GBL in shops. It's very unlikely you'll find it. Google is your friend, and it comes the next day.

gbl is acidic isn't it? how come gbl plus a base = a salt if not?

in fact GBL is acidic i remember measuring it during a conversion and neat gbl is certainly more harmful to your stomach than rennie

My alloys are very dirty at the moment. I am presuming GBL will make them look all sparkly again?

Before I even Google this, I'm going to say that sodium hydroxide is an acid, and the two together make an almost PH neutral substance.

Correct, GBL is acidic. I was wrong. I still don't think 1-2mls of neat GBL would do anything to your stomach lining, as it would be diluted immediately, following consumption. Alcohol gives me loads of heartburn. GBL never does.

I agree. The sweet spot for me was always between 1.5ml and 1.7. The only time i ever had any problems with GBL was the one time i got a little sloppy with my measuring, and i just lost consciousness for a bit in my own home.
