LSD and Indian/sitar/Native American/shamanic chanting music
    #1
    I all.

I've recently given up everything and decided I need to go sober, the only thing I will continue to use is LSD as I find it such a positive and life affirming experience and as fun as it is, for me it is more about what I learn from it. To that effect I am now at a point where I don't want to listen to the music I normally do on acid and would like to explore myself while listening to traditional Indian music, Native American music, shamanic changing or some kind of guided shamanic thing. Only thing is I don't know where to start, so if anyone would be able to point me in the right direction I'd be very grateful.

Thanks and I hope you're all well.

    Jusme.

For classical indian music you could check out Ravi Shankar. Definitely suited for tripping IMO.

Lately I've experimenting with some golden bowl sounds. Someone hooked me up with this cd. The wisdom in the sounds is tremendous.

To learn how to journey, straight or otherwise, I used this book: Much first source material and well put together. Comes with a CD of music for the journey. I can say I've had many interesting experiences using it. Glad I found journeying.

Side one of Concert For Bangla Desh by George Harrison and friends...track Bangla Dhun is one of my favorites.

Of course....cant forget the mono edition of Harrison's "Wonderwall Music"...classic Indian Music tripping album...I happen to have it uploaded. Serious psychedelic music soundtrack....the movie itself is also quite good.

Lots of good stuff here, thank you all!

I also highly recommend Ash Ra Temple, its krautrock though, but any of their works are very LSD-like, here's one good example: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JyDmWo-4guE

Great psychedelic recommendations above: Ravi Shankar, George Harrison, Ash Ra Tempel... they all have led me through glimpses of infinity at one point or another...

    My recommendation:

another review of the same, without working link for download:

If you browse these two blogs you'll have material for a long, strange trip...

When you say mine...you mean all three I posted?

Well.....to find the first google "bangla dhun + ravi"

To find the harrison record google "wonderwall music + mono + morninggloryseed"

To find Paul McCartney's (under the pseudonym of Fireman) just add "Rushes + Fireman" into google and you will be on your way.

Iboga music is amazing....I hated it when I first heard it (a few hours before I first took ibogaine) but the Universe told me to listen anyway.... and I am sooooo glad I did as I simply cannot imagine my healing iboga experience without that music....dare I say the music was at least 55.6789% of the reason that trip was so amazing and regenerating. Now I love it and just by listening to that music I can be transported back to the same place.
