Hey everybody,

I've been using GBL (german quality) since may. never had a problem but for a month now, by head wheels like it was full off cotton, between the skin and whatever's inside, that is. if i smoke weed which obviously overpwores everything, i also get a very weird feeling on the left side of my face.
i cant understand how people can drink GBL/GHB for years without anything but addiction.
its very hard because i have no access to baclofen or phenibut neither :/ and ive tried searching for these specific issues concerning GBL use on the internet but so far came up with nothing. its hard to explain but it sure is bothersome and kills any enjoyment of the G itself. nowadays i dont get any euphoria anyways, i just black out or it works like a GABA-A (benzo) for me.
there are plenty of people who have gone to the local detox hospital for GHB w/d and they've died. happened numerous times over the years too. its unbelievable for a rich EU country, some places and services are so subpar its not even funny.

guess im hoping someone knows what im talking about but im alko looking to hear how's G treating you and how long you've been drinking it and which problems does it entail for you?

thanks in advance! %)

Your head feels like it full off cotton and that start just under the upper layer of skin reaching inwards. That is not something I ever felt on GHB or during my GBL addiction fase long ago.

Localized weird feelings I would call pressure like located on one side. if I remember correct this phenomenon occured when I asculated my dosages it would cause me to close an eye to regain vision.

I however never felt Cannabis overpowered GBL on the contrary the effect of G, kinda like benzodiazepinen, mute the effect of THC. G has better synergy I think though.

Same here took em more then ten years to realize the tool for reducing GHB/ GBL use and cessation was right in their arsenal of pharmaceuticals. It's called Xyrem or sodiumoxybate and prescribed for narcolepsy.

First the would have people suffer and puttin them in danger by using benzo's to fill the gap. Then they helped them taper but the addict had to provide their own GHB/ GBL. As the illegal stuff has an varrying concentration. Like that makes Xyrem an unusefull tapering medicin. But they finally got it now and after 15/ 20 years one can finally be weaned with aid of something they had al the time?

We used to use Polish GBL for months. I just had to take breaks because it was impossible for me to not have a cup when I had it. Withdrawals suck but I found GABA or Kratom or Dramamine helped. I was dosing every other hour with G and was nodding out places I shouldn't. I don't know what else to say but G was hard on my body too.

i dont mind the WDs (i have GBL for that lol) and i dont mind the addiction bit either. its the shitty physical symptoms and almost no euhporia gained from 4 months of 24/7 GBL usage. i drink about 15-20ml German GBL/day.

Maybe you have reached your maximum dosage. Your taking ten dosages a day, give or take.

I have noticed it with a lot of the drugs, be it Mu-opiods, Gaba/ ghb, Cb I/ II or stimulants there seems to be a ceiling to the wanted effects.

might be.

one more question: in case of Phenibut, how much 99.9% GBL equals 1tab (250mg) of Phenibut?
i might be able to get a hold of them, possibly 60. im afraid i'd have to take like 10/day or .. ?

thank You!

I've had a couple of GBL addiction spells in my life. It really use to hurt the top of my heels for some reason. very, very uncomfortable. Because i was heavily addicted, I compensated by using 30/500 Co Codomol tablets for side effects.. My head would sometimes feel like it was going to burst.

I remember I was wanting to give up so badly that I promised myself I would stop when the bottle ran out. When it did run out, the withdrawls hit me big time and i ended up taking a seizure. Let me just say this about the withdrawals...I have never experienced anxiety as much as this in my life. It was unbearable. Thankfully I was prescribed diazepam. The anxiety eased but it toot about 8 MONTHS to get back to my normal self.

In reflection, I found GBL the most addictive substance I've took.

I will NEVER, EVER touch GBL again.

i will never take the WD's. i've suffered enough opioid WD's throughout my life, i've been on benzos for 15yrs, never drank alcohol in my life, i've been on GBL for less than 6 months now, 24/7. ive pretty much substituted my benzos for GBL, i take 'em way less than i used to but i know it will change when i try and quit GBL for phenibut. i'll be eating 20-30mg xans/day then, again :/ well, lets hope it wont happen but im sure it *will* happen, at least at first and at least a few days out of many.
it's quite ridiculous, many people have died in this hospital im going to bc they dont use proper GHB/GBL wd techniques and think of it and tell the addicts that its basically alcohol wd. another addict dead? too fucking bad. im in EU but sometimes it really doesnt feel like EU very much. o'well, it's only been almost 30 years ;)

Tyler myself I never used Phenibut during my withdrawals of GBL. Triialed it a few times after I closed the GBL file and I really dislike the effects. Imo not a preferable substitute. I rather go for some Alprazolam and a beer or two. Ymmv offcourse. A recent file in which the same question passes by. Sorry but I am unable to find it but some of our members, maybe a mod, mentioned the mechanisme of action of Phenibut is more akin to a Gabapentinoid. Opossed to resembling Baclophen in action which is a GABA-B agonist. And in studies seems to help with GHB and GBL withdrawal. Not that a Gabapentinoid wouldn't help but if it's not directly covering the GABA-B the seizure risk still remains and Phenibut does nothing in preventing them. But that's just from hear say but take it in consideration.

Reading about seizure's makes me think cold turkey might even be dangerous. But I did it several times, but I did manage to not dose during my workweek hours. So I was never doing any 24/7 cycle, thankfully as the withdrawal was not really known at that time.

I wish you luck and really hope you give up the GBL tyler5. Please don't substitute GBL for phenibut though. Just try tapering down you're GBL usage. Benzos helped me but if you have been addicted to them before then this isn't going to be easy. Don't let GBL ruin you. Fight it, let people know of you're situation. It will kill you man.
