Gabapentinoids Gabapentin and Pregbalin Dosage

I've been going up in dose with gabapentin recently since I take it for fun every 3 days and my tolerance has built up really high (I take 5100mg currently) and I just got some pregbalin and was wondering what dosage I should take for recreational use and can I take both the drugs together and if I'm trying to let my tolerance go down on one of the drugs, can I take the other and not effect the other ones tolerance? Any help would be great, thanks

Agreed. ^^ Lyrica is stronger than the gabapentin, just be careful combining the two. I don't recommend combining because then you throw off how much you document to get your recreational use. There are many threads on how lyrica is absorbed - don't take it all at once, as you'll just be wasting it. Stagger your doses.

I take it all at once currently, I've read some of the gabapentin megathreads and some scientific papers on how more and more of it is wasted the higher the dose but for some reason I don't get the same effect when I stagger the doses. Maybe it's just my body or something, I'm not sure.

Actually your body absorbs around 90 percent of pregbalin regardless of the dose so it doesn't have the same falloff effect as gabapentin at higher doses according to a study I read earlier today. I'll link it.

no there a complete cross tolerance between the two. 5100mg gabapentin= 1700mg pregabaline ,and you will get withdrawal when you stop because of your high doses the drug stay in your body in the days when you stop it.
you can take them in the same time.

Does not taking the meds for awhile lower my tolerance again and how long does it take?

You will only absorb 300-60mg of that amount. The rest you are completely wasting. If you stagger the doses you’ll find it would work better. 600mg every 45/60mins until you find a sweet spot.

I will warn you though that moving on to pregabalin will only end in increased tolerance and dependence. It is a horrible withdrawal when you eventually run out.

If you’re not feeling anything from gabapentin then try pregabalin at 75-150mg to start. Do not mix with alcohol and I wouldn’t advise taking gabapentin along with it.

Tolerance builds quick and the high isn’t worth it.

You’re only going to increase your tolerance unnecessarily. Just use pregabalin first without the gabapentin.

I usually take pregablin 3 times a day with some small gabapentin doses staggered in between. It helps tremendously with the anxiety you get after a stupid pregablin binge.
Tolerance usually halves after a 3 day break.

Word of advice. Don't abuse this stuff. It severely affects your mental health.

I started taking 150 mg of Lyrica in two equal doses in morning and early evening. It is weird - first week very nice effect on body and anxiety, then I tended to take it as a new baseline and forget about the effects and start feel some discomfort again. Plan to increase two 300 mg a day.

My goal is probably to get "mildly high" in the evening and start with weak effects in the morning. Though I feel like this drug is building its effects over time? I started taking only 75 mg in the evening for a few days and did not notice a difference.

What do you mean? How does it affect your mental health? Do you mean the anxiety during withdrawal or something else?

I get anxiety and depression even after months of last taking it. Anxiety during withdrawal was several times worse.

I have been taking 3x the dose you are on. It backfired. 3 days I went delirious and the withdrawal was horrible including akathisia. I met a guy on here who also used mega doses and he said it fried his brain. IDK if he recovered.
