Recovery Alcohol is not an option anymore

Well it's 9am and I've been up since like 3:30am.

I just got a whole bunch anxiety about the state of my apartment. Mountains of empty beer cans, bugs, it's really the worst it's ever been.

I sort of chugged a 24 oz hard seltzer and smoked some spice resin. Now I'm listening to music and laughing at it. I feel so much better.

Maybe I need to go back on my venlafaxine for anxiety and depression. I've been taking Abilify again for a couple of days now.

I quit both so that I could binge grams and grams and grams of MDMA over the past few months. Lately I was tripping everyday on either mushrooms (was growing) or 4-aco-dmt.

Lately I don't want to trip so I won't lose my beer buzz. I hate going back on my meds because I really plan to trip and roll again in the future.

Perhaps I can go on them long enough to quit drinking for awhile and then quit again? Maybe I'm kidding myself and need my meds to be productive.

I was doing much better with adderall and valium in the mix but no way can I afford private psychiatric care right now.

Honestly @simstim there is only so long you can keep up the lifestyle you've been carrying on with. You can't keep it up forever. Trust me, I tried. I broke my brain and certain parts of my body, and I just couldn't do it any more. I really hope you can find the strength and the will to make healthier choices for your long term future <3

Beer is fine, but if you’re facing issues with alcohol addiction try eating a diet that will balance the levels of serotonin in the brain. This involves eating foods high in carbohydrates, especially the complex carbohydrates found in starchy foods like legumes, root vegetables, pasta and bread. Eating these foods in combination with protein in your meals will keep you at your best.

Do you have a reliable source to back that up?

Not unless I wanna end up like this one day if I am lucky

I don't know why I keep insisting it is probably because I enjoy the buzz

Nice drawing who is the artist?

Btw that is not the worst outcome.

He has a riot shotgun and a tattooed pig.
What's tattooed on the pig? Are those molecule structure's.

This is really a great piece of art. He is carrying a sound system and playing steel gitar. Loving it.

I didn't read the post but based on the title I know how you feel. I'm thinking about adding moonshine to beer or wine because I can't handle liquor taste, and who wants to chug 17 beers for a cheap buzz? Maybe I have to move on to GHB..

Lol, in all seriousness hope you are doing well with the whole quitting thing. I've also pretty much quit drinking, due to tolerance and what a shitty drug it is. I get maybe 2 or 3 beers into a planned 12 pack and give up and don't even drink more cuz what's the point?

Has anyone taken Diclazepam? Ive been reading about it and being a rc and little studies done on this, kinda scares me. I just ordered some for insomnia and anxiety. Anyone with experience on diclazepam, please chime in. Im not going to just dive in with this drug.

I had a gram of diclazepam I was going through sometime last year. It worked well enough. Similar to valium I believe, common dose is 1-3mg, time of action 8-12 hours.

Thanks for that deficiT. Sorry for the questions but would .5mg be safe for starters?
