Quick question.
Someone gave me some bubblegum seeds, how stinky is this strain for an indoor grow with carbon filtration? Would I walk out of the room wreaking of skunk?

I might start ammo haze instead, very mild smell and it takes so sodding long anyway I might as well overwinter it!

Although I've grown this one, smell intensity is more determined by grow procedure than the strain itself.

I grew some of the smelliest chemdawg you could imagine and I did it all without a carbon filter or exhaust fan. Fighting the heat was actually a bigger hurdle than the smell.

How much are you growing? What's your grow space like?

Fuck 😬 you know how to spark my paranoia !!!
Now I've climbed down off the ceiling (it's Monday, c'mon) it's a small space and I was thinking of growing just one so I don't have to clear the whole space again. I grew a cheese once that I could still smell traces of two years later coming off the bit of wood that it sat on, I want to avoid smelling like that.

I had a harvest ripped from me once, so I kind of understand the paranoia. I also didn't mean to trigger it, just throwing ideas around.

It sounds like you already have a carbon filter? That should do the trick.

Buy a new carbon filter, keep the same fan, you'll be good.
Carbon filters become less effective after a few months of use.

I use the carbon filter to neutralise the smell of extracted air, another vent brings in fresh air, so that deals with the smell outside the room.
It's the smell of me after spending time inside there I'm worried about. That might be too obvious.
That's the question really, if you compared all the strains on a scale of one to ten (the stinkiest is ten), how stinky is bubblegum in full flower?

What I would do would be having clothes that I would wear exclusively when working on the grow, then hopping in the shower and wearing fresh ones.
Wash hands and forearms particularly well as those would be particularly smelly having touched the plant directly.
Don't wear shoes inside the grow as washing them twice a day's not practical.
I passed K9s regularly 1 hour after working on my grow by doing this.

Jesus where you live you have to pass K9’s on the daily? Good advice though. Washing the hands and forearms with iso usually helps too.

I was a techie on call for a Max Sec pen with an underground section in it that was above Max Sec, for prisoners that had lost their constitutional rights.
Horrible place to be in even just for work.

Damn, I’m curious how one finds themselves in that underground hell hole? What kind of individuals were housed down there?

Mafia bosses.
They are in constant isolation, don't talk to the guards unless the guards talk to them.
The guards are changed every few weeks.
Never see any other prisoner, 24/7 camera surveillance of every angle they can be in including toilet and shower.
1 hour of "fresh air" per day in an underground yard as big as a living room with metal bars and fences as a roof and walls 3 stories high so you're looking up a tunnel.
Access to lawyer only through the phone and mail, not private.
They can be denied any form of medical treatment, including life saving, at the warden's discretion.
Visits with family are once per month and intercom only with thick glass separating them from others.

This type of detention has been ruled as violating the UN Convention Against Torture and the European Court of Human Rights also found it in breach of 2 articles.

EDIT: all inbound and outbound correspondence, including family, lawyer and Human Rights courts can and will be monitored and censored.
