Poetry High Poetry

Whenever I'm rattlin' and I buy some fags to ease the pain
All I can think Is to go back to morpheus delicate arms once again.
Red pill or blue pill? Same shit, I just want a bloody shot of bittersweet M
Nevermind what I said thst raining day
All I want is you, I made a fucking huge mistake
The bleak sky of Lima is so melancholic
Every morning, looking for a fix, coping in shady places
I stop sweating and get ready to see my lovely shein.
A girl like no other, her blue eyes hypnotize me, mate.
Love is like a chess match, this is a fuckin checkmate.
Like a beautiful pink blossom my lady is perfect in every single way.
It's time for a fix pass me my fuckibg tray.
Everything is in there the rig, the belt and the spoon
Just one more rush, what a bloody swoon.

Lately I've been feeling low
I'm doing Angels on the snow
Hold me tight
We will be alright
Don't chase the blue pill
Let's drink some wine
Cmon' pretty lady
I ain't no swine
It's getting quite late
Sing me a lullaby...😊

Inked in my chest
I got a tattoo
It's a Lion whose roar can be heard to the moon
I get sensitive at times
Who said that boys don't cry?
Have u even given it a try?
It feels bleak when you realize
That the whole world is full of lies
Pure afghan gold, it feels so nice
Rushing through my blood
I can only think of one thing
On that same bench by the sea
That we met many moons ago
Since you left, I've got nowhere to go...
Seashells & pills by the Dancefloor.

The only thing certain in life
Is uncertainty
Welcome to the XXI century
That lassies perfume got me stoned
Her diaphanous blouse
Is the bloody fucking cause
Of why I looked back on her
Show Me some fire, mademoiselle
Like on that beautiful sunny day when we met
Look at me in the eyes and don't hesitate
I wanna kiss those lips, please God.
I cope some Dope and without noticing
I'm nodding off once again...

nznity if you had a chance to read my "Incomplete" before I deleted it (and reappropriated the thread) that is the best example of intoxicated sentimentalism (what I like to call sentiMENTALism) I can think of.
I hope we'll meet again one day
And you'll show me your incomplete poetry till dawn
Together dabbing and laughing
When the sun rises
Like kids playing, in a ethereal world full of ashes.
Miss ya CH,
You left a hole nobody will ever replace.
Tears run dry my face
I Finally see you smile
Andrew we love you forever, mate.

I'm sorry.
I'm sorry for you and I am sorry for me
I hope that you wish to always be
Thank you for that
And I always do remember you
And also remember you being there for me 🤍

Aw my dear hylite,
Don't think I forgot about you.
To the moon back and forth
There's no words to express this type of luv
We all lovers in this forum full of hate
How ironic is that, you might say.
Come with me and let's slide away.
Chasing the sun, full of smoke and paper planes.

I had to remind myself English is your second language! These are very true to your nature.. Not pretentious.

I don't write poetry but I read it a lot and I love words. Here is one by a Chilean poet, Pablo Neruda. He won a Nobel Prize for Literature in 1971.

If You Forget Me

I want you to know
one thing

You know how this is:
if I look
at the crystal moon, at the red branch
of the slow autumn at my window
if I touch
near the fire
the impalpable ash
or the wrinkled body of the log
everything carries me to you
as if everything that exists
aromas, light, metals
were little boats
that sail
toward those isles of yours that wait for me

Well, now
if little by little you stop loving me
I shall stop loving you little by little

If suddenly
you forget me
do not look for me
for I shall already have forgotten you

If you think it long and mad
the wind of banners
that passes through my life
and you decide
to leave me at the shore
of the heart where I have roots
remember
on that on that day
at that hour
I shall lift my arms
and my roots will set off
to seek another land

But
if each day
each hour
you feel that you are destined for me
with implacable sweetness
if each day a flower
climbs up to your lips to seek me
ah my love, ah my own
in me all that fire is repeated
in me nothing is extinguished or forgotten
my love feeds on your love, beloved
and as long as you live it will be in your arms
without leaving mine

Thank you Miss 😚. Appreciate the feedback.
Yeah Neruda is awesome 👌, they taught me about him in high school lols.

That's the most beautiful love poem I know. I tend more toward Bukowski 😉
Bukowski was a drunk fuck, misogynist and a bit of a cunt. Nevertheless, his work is amazing.
This is the most famous Nerudas poem:

Poem 20 (English)

I can write the saddest verses of all tonight.

Write, for instance: "The night is full of stars,
and the stars, blue, shiver in the distance."

The night wind whirls in the sky and sings.

I can write the saddest verses of all tonight.
I loved her, and sometimes she loved me too.

On nights like this, I held her in my arms.
I kissed her so many times under the infinite sky.

She loved me, sometimes I loved her.
How could I not have loved her large, still eyes?

I can write the saddest poem of all tonight.
To think I don't have her. To feel that I've lost her.

To hear the immense night, more immense without her.
And the poem falls to the soul as dew to grass.

What does it matter that my love couldn't keep her.
The night is full of stars and she is not with me.

That's all. Far away, someone sings. Far away.
My soul is lost without her.

As if to bring her near, my eyes search for her.
My heart searches for her and she is not with me.

The same night that whitens the same trees.
We, we who were, we are the same no longer.

I no longer love her, true, but how much I loved her.
My voice searched the wind to touch her ear.

Someone else's. She will be someone else's. As she once
belonged to my kisses.
Her voice, her light body. Her infinite eyes.

I no longer love her, true, but perhaps I love her.
Love is so short and oblivion so long.

Because on nights like this I held her in my arms,
my soul is lost without her.

Although this may be the last pain she causes me,
and these may be the last verses I write for her.

I have read that one by Neruda. I actually discovered him via Msdonna. She uses a few different poems. This version is my fave.. It works so well 😎

Another poet I *really* like is Rainer Maria Rilke

The Loner

Like one who has traveled distant oceans
Among those who are forever at home
The crowded days are spread across their tables
But to me the far-off holds more life

Behind my face stretches a world
No more lived in, perhaps, than the moon
But the others leave no feeling alone
And their words are all inhabited

The things I brought back with me
Seem strange here and out of place
In their own land they moved like animals
But here they hold their breath in shame

--Rilke, Book of Images

Do you have something against drunk fucks? LOL. He was and he knew it. But I separate the man from his art in most cases. He makes me laugh like crazy sometimes..

Yes, because I'm a drunk fuvk too and I behave like an utter cunt when I'm on alcohol u.u
That's why I don't drink anymore. At least not hard liquor, only the odd beer here and there.

@AbbeyLee btw, Madonnas face is starting to melt...it's quite gruesome but age+so much plastic surgery has finally catched up on her....uu rip her face.

OMG I KNOW. I saw that photo shoot she did recently and I'm actually really disappointed in her.

When she turned 60 and did her Madame X thing, she had one look which I loved so much. She'd put on weight, left her hair brunette and curly, and looked so happy in her skin. She'd aged gracefully.. So I thought.

I'm also angry about the Marilyn Monroe "deathbed" pics. They weren't even stylish. I think she's finally gone Michael Jackson 😕 The pics looked like an 18yo and were so fake.

That woman was my hero. She's 15 years older and I thought "when I'm 60 I want to look like Madonna". Not now I don't 😣

This is the look I loved..

Edit: LOLLL@RIP her face 😅

Beyond that door is death
In all of its subjective glory
That much is known
In other words
What is beyond that door is often called the unknown
What many refer to as the metaphorical death
How can you know something is there without the wonderful Calibre of your own senses

Crossroads that make me doubt
If I should keep going or go down
Down the rabbithole
The high wont last, it's never enough
Good vibes to you all
My inevitable faith
The love of my mates
No more excuses
I'll prevail...

A rare pink tulip for the beautiful lady
I saw you across the room
And wow girl for you I'm crazy
Those big brown eyes
Ur lil hands
The smell of your hair
That's what I call real swerve
Will you dance with me just for tonight?
I'll softly kiss your lips under stars
Until dawn we will Unite
Those 3 words I said too much
One day your heart I'm gonna catch...
