Anyone else have a constant anxiety of this happening? How do you cope with it?

This is kinda funny question cuz it’s kind of how I got into learning chemistry. It was late 00’s and the MDMA drought was taking place. Due to the downward spiral of MDMA quality from the early 90’s I thought it could be the end for it. I couldn’t accept that.

I started reading the most basic of MDMA synths which looked like a foreign language but just kept researching and re-reading it over and over again. Eventually I understood it but that opened the door to want to know more and more. I never ended up synthesizing any as I became well connected to not feel the need for that danger when I could buy it for cheap enough. But just knowing I can leaves me with a sense of peace if ever a drought that bad comes again.

So I guess I cope by learning and planning. If the world ended tomorrow societally.. I’d be ok. Me and my family at least gonna be comfortable as we watch the mushroom clouds off in the distance.

Heroin doesn't even exist anymore in my country. It's almost a relief, knowing that if I tried to score it again after so many years that it would be shit fent. I've relapsed a few times in the last 12 years and it was mostly just shitty fent with a shitty high... or real pharma which is so expensive now it's less financially practical to be addicted to than cocaine.

I am now addicted to alcohol even though I hate it... not worried about that running out any time soon.

Kinda yeah but the Pregabalin has been helping me tremendously when I take it as prescribed. It’s been a wonder drug for my anxiety and stress levels. Gonna come off my antidepressant that I’ve been on for years (Mirtazapine) soon and just stay on Pregabalin for the foreseeable future.

There’s a whole lot you can do with mason jars and random glass. I agree keeping around a bunch of gear is as bad as having the drugs themselves. That said, I think we may live in different locations cuz those sound like pretty harsh consequences.

I'm in America and manufacture is worse than high-level trafficking...especially if it's fentsnyl they would publicly crucify you.

Street level distribution is even like 3 to 10 years or so.

I've also used pregabalin for years. It has helped me really much. My social anxiety is almost zero and I've been able to find a girlfriend.

My psychiatrist is ok with pregabalin, but there are other psychiatrists who don't like it. So, if my doctor ever changes - I might lose my prescription. >_<

My wife is Canadian and we live in NY. We did live in Ontario some years back. (whole immigration thing both ways) My wife always talks of going back to Canada. Recently she had a heart damage issue and we are in NY with some very good health insurance and they got her right in and did about 4 procedures in 3 days. So when I asked her if we were in Canada it would be free health care. (now keep in mind United Health insurance in the US is top notch, it pays just about everything except copays) But what she said to me the first time is she would not have had care so quick in Canada, It would worry her. She had an issue some years back and needed an MRI and it was scheduled 19 months down the road in Canada. By the time it came up she was feeling better, but could have just as well have been dead. She needed another one here in the US years later and got in 5 days later.

There is the whole debate about socialized medicine verses private. I think the notion of socialized medicine is very honorable. But as stated in the article below it is hard getting doctors and nurses. Honestly I do not know the answer to which type of health is the better model. Both are saddled with their own issues,

As far as the original question, when I win a woosh of money (and I will!) I would hire some slick lawyers (US again lol) to first go after my uncles Doctor who stuck him in a nursing home and decided to cold turkey his 3 mgs of clonazepam a day that he took for 25 years. My uncle went psychotic and doctors claimed it was senilety. i would go out of my way to drag that asshole into court and embarrass him. Then I would go after some of the doctors that cut BL'ers off benzos with no taper. There is no room for such incompetence in medicine and if you have money in the US you can sue anyone. It irritates me so much I would make that a cause. I am tired of the arrogant young know it all douchbag doctors. Saying that there are some real human doctors that are in it to help heal and not worry about protocol. So if they can do it these other chickenshit doctors should learn maturity.

But I think I cad safely say all I use is kratom and cannabis. Those I do not worryy about as there is so much and now becoming business. But if I used any form of benzo as a medicine I would worry for sure due to the incompetent examples of plain old inadequate health care providers who are just plain old dumb and have no knowledge of the pharms they get paid to push.
