Hey I do not know how Ketamine effects me.. Or much about the substance at all :/. Can someone tell me the average dose? And if it would be alright to try it by myself? I've experienced LSD, Mushrooms, MDMA, Weed, etc.

Ketamine questions belong in Psychedelic Drugs Forum if i'm not mistaken.
The dose depends on what ROA you will be using.
Yes, its alright to try by yourself, though i recommend always having at least one person with you when trying a new substance.
Go on Erowid and read up about the drug before you think about doing it.

All I can say is if your doing it alone, do it near a bed and as soon as it starts hitting you get on that bed!!

Mate of mine his first time was in a pub (no joke) he dropped and cracked his noggin lol

I wouldn't do K alone ever again - did it once and wound up kholed for like 6-7 hours :(

do small bumps (50 to 100mg depending on your size) until you're where you want to be, you might slip into a k-hole if you do enough, don't be scared, go with the flow...

when i was doing lots of Ket, i would rack up 1 or 2 grams in lines, take a couple, lye down in a dark room with psychadelic music and journey, then take some more, and so on, unil i had none left...

First time I tried K I snorted more than 1/2 a gram at once and K holed so fucking hard

I was lost in another dimension for what seemed like an eternity , it was awesome <3

I wish I did alot less though and got more of a feel for it first before going deep like that

No regrets though , it was a hell of an adventure =D

how does anyone like going into a k-hole?

the whole experience makes me feel like ive lost my mind and i feel really weird for days after. The amount of damage this stuff must do to your brain is shocking.

Some people like pushing it to the limit

I enjoyed it alot , it would have been more suited for someones house though

Walking through the city afterwords was tough :D

Thanks guys haha I'm excited to try this! My friend told me to just keep taking lines until I feel numb LOL good idea? I really want to k-hole

I've only tried it twice and each time was a line of 50mgs. The experience was not too overwhelming and I think that would be a safe place to start. As I understand a dose 50mgs is on the small side and I'm eager to experience a larger dose but enjoyed my two 50mgs trips.

Ketamine doesn't damage your brain unless you binge out on it hard.

It's still used in medicine quite frequently. When used correctly for medicinal purposes, it does nothing to harm your brain - and can actually help your brain out in some ways. NMDA receptor antagonism is a bit magical.

Furthermore, this thread would do better in PD.

What Shambles decides to do with this thread is up to him. ;)

I love the stuff

Ketamine is easily one of my favorites. It is much different than phens/tryps and LSD.
It is in a way the exact opposite then acid and so on. Small doses give a floating feeling. I don't recommend wasting your ketamine in that manner. Go for the k-hole.

Hard to describe, you will lose vision. I have always thought of the experience as becoming a specter. You will fell as if you have left your body.

Sorry I cannot help with dosage because you did not mention the method of ingestion you plan on using. I suggest IM.

It will probably be very difficult to reach a K hole unless you IM it. Is it in powder form? If it is that's too bad:(

mmmmm I.M. k blows insufflation away......and k holes are one of the finest experiences this human being can have. And has been stated, k has actually been shown to be neuroprotective in some senses and has a huge margin of safety. I had it when i had my tonsils out at 5 years old and it blew me away, even then! And olneys lesions are a crock of shit:p

Very excited reading these posts! And oh sorry, its going to be a whole vial..(Not going to use it all LOL) and I'll be snorting the Ketamine.. I'm aiming for a safe entry into a k-hole as I'd REALLY love to experience it..

For recreational ( dancing, chilling/)I suggest you start off with small bums and keeping doing the small bums until you are a place you like...

For kick you ass, thrown out of this world into a k-hole, I suggest you makes fat lines( at first about 3 fats lines, take them one after the other

Ketamine is also perhaps the only addictive psychedelic (OK technically it's not a psychedelic but a dissociative, still...)
It's very interesting to try, truly bizarre but manageable since emotions often get a little more stable. Even if it's like WTF, hardly ever is an experience really terrifying although near the K-hole it can get intense.
All in all it's worth trying, personally I can never just keep it at recreational bumps even though those are very nice, smooth and euphoric and really not that fucked up, I'm too much attracted to the freaky side when I do it.
Be very careful that you don't do it too often though, I've fallen into the abuse trap and got unbelievable health problems. Now I stay away...
If you use it occasionally you will be fine honestly. Real abuse is a completely different story.

Check the ketamine thread for further reference please

Addictive? Really? :/

Yeah I don't even want to use it occasionally, I would just love to experience the drug.. Maybe a couple other times knowing the way I lie to myself heh. And I hope when you k-hole you don't feel as if your going to die..? I've had an experience like that on LSD and it was really intense and freaky.

Well to be honest, it can be like that but in a strange way. Personally I can feel more and more like I'm "simply not there". Like I cease to exist, even when I still sense some of my surroundings. The point is: you will certainly NOT die and there is something freeing about this experience. Like you disconnect from outer reality, the plug is pulled and you are released from your body, free to roam your own mind. At first it can be hard to navigate, like learning to ride a bike, but I think it's worth it and paradoxically at the same time you get 'lost' you are kept safe. It's interesting to take a break and not have to worry about feeling your own body lol.

Sometimes K-holing feels to me like I'm going backwards falling into a metaphorical rabbithole, traversing time and space as if they were a tree-schematic map of points splitting into parallel dimensions. The more I retreat into my mind as a non-sensory sinkhole, the further back this scheme I travel and sometimes I then wonder how I will ever find the right dimension back again, having to choose a million correct ones at every crossing point. On the other hand, as I settle into my infinite mind-space I feel like my own god, realizing I'm omnipotent in my inner world. Coming back from it is peculiar and even occasionally worrisome but of course it's always fine in the end so no big deal. The after-effects can be pretty vague though.

It's all part of the experience, don't go trying to K-hole the very first time and it will be fine! Go further bit by bit a couple of times and you will get the hang of it.
Despite my intense description I never felt like I was anywhere near panic while real psychedelics like mushrooms or LSD can be horribly scary. Even though K can be very intense, it feels safe because it's such an internal experience. The dissociation protects you in a way.

That description is really comforting to know, I love pyschedleics for the ways they open up your mind and K sounds like something I'd enjoy! Oh.. Try not to K-hole the first time? Well before I wanted to do Ketamine JUST to k-hole but didn't really know much about it.. I'm going to avoid a k-hole but try to have a really good experience with it. I thank everyone for the information haha I'm really excited now, and will be on tomorrow to say how things went. And yeah I've had two scary experiences.. One on shrooms and one on LSD.. The LSD one is too long to explain but when I was on shrooms I was out in a HUUUGE rain/lightning storm.. Like it was huuuge hahah it really scared me but was kind of cool at the same time.:p
