Which method of smoking cannabis is the best?

Well, this is a subjective matter. A poll has been added, so you can see what other people think. However, it is important to note that some methods are objectively healthier, than others.

Well, which method is healthiest then?

Vaporising. When you use a vaporiser, you are not lighting the plant material and inhaling the thousands of different chemicals that combustion produces, as you are with any other method. You are only boiling off some of the material present in the plant, including the THC (the stuff that gets you high). If you are going to smoke, then a pipe or bong is better than a joint. Blunts (cannabis rolled in tobacco leaf) and spliffs (joints rolled with tobacco) are worse again, as smoking these is smoking tobacco, and taking all the risks that are entailed by that.

Wait...aren’t bongs healthier than normal pipes because they filter out the tar?

NO! A study showed that bongs actually filter out proportionally more THC than they do tar, meaning you have to inhale more smoke to get the desired effect. Bongs are efficient, no doubt, but they are often thought to be healthier than they really are.

Can I make my own pipe/bong/vaporiser?

Yes, but there are ways of going about it which are sensible and thorough, and ways of going about it which are sloppy and lazy and will result in a device which is hazardous to your health. See this thread;

Okay guys, I just got a hash oil skillet just like this one and I am in love with this thing. So fucking ripped of a drop of oil. I am ready to stop wasting 40% of the hash oil with combustion.

Who else has seen these and used them before? Does everybody already know about these things?

I haven't seen one before just recently, and now it seems to be gaining popularity in the area; the head shop just got them in for the first time and I got one for *snip*.

I am interested to hear about peoples experiences with the skillet and who is a pro skillit-teer.

Also I want to try and turn some people on to this as a method for smoking hash oil because of it's amazing efficiency.

You just use a candle and the metal plate site horizontal above it while the oil sizzles? It's pretty simple to make a ghetto version yourself. I just use a pentube held in my mouth holding a tablespoon over a torch. Why pay *snip* for that?

Because its an amazing piece of art. *snip* isn't that bad and he can smoke out of something that doesn't look or feel like a ghetto crack pipe. I would love to have such a piece.

Not sure if we are talking about the same thing... i just have my bell and Ti plate... heat 'er up with the torch and just dab her on.

If you can find a blower to make you a bell curve to fit in a piece.. you are pretty much set. I've even heard of a few people using a titanium spork as their conduction point. Whatever works though.

it's a titanium plate that you heat with a propane or butane torch till its red hot then you put a drip of oil on the plate and inhale. a candle wont cut it.

I use a *snip* meth pipe for hash (and DMT too), it works great. That's an excellent looking device though, very cool looking and less harsh then a bulb in all likelyness. I like to hook up my bulb to a bong and smoke hash through it, it's super smooth. I never get oil unfortunatly.

Does it have a legit purpose or is it being sold for hash? If so what do they claim it's for?

yo that's not my picture my skillet is cooler.

maybe ill put a pic up because i modified it so it has a metal peg to hold your hit and you just flick the plate onto the hit and inhale. its dope.
