This may be helpful to a recent thread considering they were not in fact trolling or experiencing some psychotic break.

Hybristophilia- a sexual interest in and attraction to those who commit crimes, a paraphilia in which sexual arousal, facilitation, and attainment of orgasm are responsive to and contingent upon being with a partner known to have committed a crime.

Haven't seen said other thread and don't know who you guys are talking about, but yes, this is absolutely a real fetish.

Yeah, a lot of people with trauma and fucked up childhoods absolutely have this fetish to some extent. It does seem to be somewhat more common with women based on my anecdotal experience.

Not necessarily, plenty of people people just like that cause it rocks their jollies.

Regarding, the women, (taken from Bundy trials, mainly, from what we can discern) - seems to be mainly very immature, women/repressed women, who haven't the maturity to understand the entire context & yet have a 'safe space' to engage in their 'bad boy' fantasy. After the age of mid-late pubescence, are known as complete, idiots.

What about, petty-crime, hybristophilliacs? The thrill of seeing someone parking on a double-yellow line! *Fap extroirdinaire*

Interesting thread.

After that prison break in Upstate New York some years ago, I believe it was called Danamora Prison, I’d read that although both escapees were murderers and considered to be quite dangerous, there were several women who were vowing that if either, or both men should show up at their door, they would be neither turned away, nor turned in to the authorities.

Other websites quoted women that said that they were not only turned on by the behavior of these escapees, but they preferred to be in sexual relationships with men whom they perceived to be criminals, (though not domestic abusers, thankfully). They explained that the degree of arousal they experienced during sexual foreplay wasn’t matched when they spent time between the sheets with non-felonious types of men, and many women claimed to be unable to truly enjoy sex with a “nice” or “good” guy.
 
...it's not logical.

...but understandable, that those women projected fantasies, on to the men that were under their control/supervision; whether they were aware they were easy marks/not - that was a choice - guessing they chose to subconsciously choose the thrill of their perceived fantasy, over reality. Kinda sad.
Obviously, not smart.
