I just obtained off hand from dealer for free..seems like a strong muscle relaxer but I also read it is a strong pain killer for arthritis but says nothing about being an opioid.

What's your take on this? Is it worth a try if I am sore as fuck from lkftkng or pain from WD? Does it have nasty side effects/worthless and meant to be in the trash?
I know that it may work as some kind of comfort med that's the only reason I accepted it in the first place. But yes any experience, warnings, or insights will be much appreciated!!
 
Meloxicam is a prescription NSAID. Pretty much just ibuprofen or naproxen like. Not an opioid.

Not recreational but it should help your pain. It's a popular arthritis drug .
 
I believe meloxicam was first licenced for use in animals. That doesn't make it inherently bad - it doesn't have any particularly acidic/basic moieties that can cause stomach issues like many NSAIDs.

However - it is a selective COX-2 inhibitor. Many of them were introduced in the 1990s (mostly as 'me too' drugs) but a large meta-analysis showed an increase in coronary events. So most were hastily withdrawn with the drug-makers paying out large amounts in class actions.

It's no fun unless you suffer a serious pain due to inflammation.

I was given a COX-2 inhibitor for about 2 weeks after a mystery - ALL of my joints ached really badly. Those little white tablets worked wonders. But for your purposes, best thrown away. It won't do you any good - so why take the risk.
