I've never had a nausea problem but I like anal play so I tried plugging and found it to be better than parachuting. I found the come up to be quick smooth and more enjoyable. Lasted about the same amount of time. Stick your finger in first to loosen up. And always do an enema beforehand. It really shouldn't be that uncomfortable a normal syringe is only about 10mm diameter and most anal virgins can take a cock with some gentle persuasion. So 10mm is nothing.

I agree Bear that the effects are not much different. But for those who suffer from nausea during the come-up, plugging is a good alternative.
For the rest the onset is somewhat quicker and may seem to be more overwhelming to some.
