post some pop!

Senator: Are you now, or have you ever been, a fan of the Butthole Surfers?
Me: I don't understand the point of your question—
Senator: It's straightforward enough do you want me to repeat it?
Me: no I really don't, because I can say that I was never a fan of the Butthole Surfers until I heard this song, I don't know what it is it's just the best song...
Senator: No further questions
Me: it really was no problem and I hope that you can beat that bribery rap it's really unfair when a underage person attracted to power and fame many years later dredges up the past in such a hurtful way

@AbbeyLee Love her attitude!

Have they really changed and how much...

I think that you are referring to song content and theme. I doubt that will change since people are still concerned with the same things in their lives.

I was actually referring to the structure of the composition and the way they were performed and recorded. Melody, chord progression, feel. Most pop now is very synced to the beat, not much "feel" there in terms of swing, etc. This kind of "overproduction squeezes the individuality out of the performances.

Not judging the change but noting the differences. And they are quite significant and yet meaningless at the same time.
