Rate Promethazine, Doxylamine or Diphenhydramine & why?

Diphenhydramine does nothing for me in therapeutical dosages. Doxylamine on the other hand did work to induce sleep. Never encountered promethazine yet. Quetiapine is nasty as in dyskinesia from <100mg and clogged nose. It's a good sleep aid at 25mg though but I just happen to hate antipsychotics.

Diphenhydramine gives me restless leg syndrome, so I try to avoid it. Plus, in high doses it causes very creepy, uncomfortable trips.

I did doxylamine a few times but didn't notice much of an effect from it, good or bad.

I've only had promethazine mixed with codeine in cough syrup, so I'm not sure what it's like on its own.

They put me on a megadose of hydroxazine when I had chicken pox, but I don't remember any psychoactive effects from it. I was so uncomfortable from being sick that I don't think I would have even noticed.

Basically, anticholinergics/deliriants just aren't any fun. The only time I take them is in therapeutic doses when my allergies are acting up.
