songs you feel in your bones

😆

French rap ftw!
Church Pray GIF
Looks like a young Till Lindemann (Rammstein) to me! :ROFLMAO:

Dunno if feeling in your bones is the same as songs that make you emotional hence my posting this here and not on the other music threads.

The below all taken from Gary Moore - Emerald Aisles - Live in Ireland (18th Dec. 1984). The first one "Wishing Well" always gets to me when I hear it/see the video i.e. I always wonder what became of those people and how their lives turned out and what happened to the children in the footage.

And if you look really nice I think there's a video of @MsDiz somewhere.

Sad shit this. And it wasn't that long ago either in the bigger scheme of things. Nor was it some far away land that speaks a foreign language. Oh how people forget. At least with music these events will never fall off of the radar.

This called "Wishing Well" about Belfast, Northern Ireland, and the next one "Victims Of The Future".

This one about the Korean Flight 007 tragedy (some fantastic footage actually) called "Murder In The Skies".

"Time was running out for all on board,
Soaring up through the shadows of night.
High above the clouds the engines roared,
This would be their final flight.
The russians have shot down a plane on its way to Korea.
Two hundred and sixtynine innocent victims have died.
Murder in the skies came without a warning.
Murder in the skies, black September morning.
Murder in the skies.
Time was running out for everyone,
Flying over the Sea of Japan.
None would live to see the rising sun,
Death was following close at hand.
The Russians have shot down a plane on its way to Korea.
Two hundred and sixty nine innocent victims have died.
Murder in the skies came without a warning.
Murder in the skies, black September morning.
Murder in the skies came without a warning.
Murder in the skies, black September morning.
Murder in the skies came without a warning.
Murder in the skies, black September morning.
Murder in the skies came without a warning.
Murder in the skies, black September morning.
Murder in the skies.
Murder in the skies.
Murder in the skies.
Murder, murder in the skies.
Murder in the skies."

It's not that far fetched to believe that with all of these incursions into Russia's airspace that this shit cannot happen again. And Russia cannot be blamed should that be the case.

And this about the state of the world insofar as the nuclear arms race was concerned called "Nuclear Attack" (sobering footage). Point being if you were not around in the '80's this shit is forgotten. The lyrics are really what count. And tell me that this couldn't have been made yesterday?

Because I'm sure nobody will bother here you go:

"Out on the streets they're all living in fear.
You can feel their hearts pound as the moment draws near.
One push of a button is all it would take
to dress the world in black.
One fault in the system, a fatal mistake,
and you'll never come back from a nuclear attack.
The Russians are ready, the U.S. is armed.
They try and tell us there's no cause for alarm.
If you think you can live like a rat in a sewer,
there might be a chance you'll stay alive.
But no one can say, no one knows for sure,
just who will survive a nuclear attack, a nuclear attack.
You may never come back from a nuclear attack.
Out on the streets they're all living in fear.
You can feel their hearts pound as the moment draws near.
You won't know what's hit you, it'll happen so fast,
won't be the time to even scream.
You'll just be burned up by the heat of the blast,
a thing of the past in a nuclear attack.
A nuclear attack,
you may never come back from a nuclear attack.
You'll never come back from a nuclear attack.
The world will just crack.
There's no turning back from a nuclear attack."
