What stops pain?
That terrible leech
Brain with a glitch
What’s the cure Doctor?
“Only, even more pain”
Pain, a life saving mechanism
Exists to save, but kills us
The paradoxical botulism
Our most natural cynicism
The Potter of life and death
Escapism behavior is human
Drugs, to do crystal meth
Is to have our first breath
Yet, Shoved to drown underwater
In a wounded carcass of emotions
The sheep has been led to slaughter
By its own thirst for poison water
Some, they fake the truth of life- distort
Chalice of poison, fed to the desperate
Desperate to escape, time and truth
They will face trouble, at the high courts
These coping skills, pain is not the murderer!
Live in clarity, life is agonizing, yet meaningful
Our brain, is not the agonizing perpetrator!
Humanly qualities and the dance of neurons
Our conscience’s, we, are not the perjurer!
To life’s pains, the way in which we respond
Truly determines death more than pain itself
Do not follow terrified herds, do not abscond!
Life, embodies a complex purpose beyond
Beyond understanding, a gorgeous painting
Crafted, using the colors of our experiences
A painting, result of life’s torturous training
A spiritual portrait, to keep all life- sustaining
