I took this photo in early April of this year. Seeing this in person was incredible. Unfortunately, Its not the best quality photo cause I had to use pano mode on my iphone

spring near my parents house... not entering cos i think the horizontal is slightly off but fuck i love england for its greenery. its the one thing i notice from the plane on the way back from somewhere hot. note, apart from caribbean i've not been to the tropics, that is def less green but maybe there's places in the tropics that are hot AND green.

Edit: apparently it's a Cinnabar Moth

I have an app I downloaded recently called Seek, by iNaturalist. It uses your camera to identify plants, animals, insects and fungi. It's really fucking cool (and free). I used it on your picture to find that you guys are right, it's a Cinnabar Moth.

I use it when hiking to figure out what everything is. Now it's like Pokemon for me, I'm trying to catch 'em all. :)
