from what I understand they only talk about ground root made into a beverage (with water/milk/saliva/lecithin [extract lol]), technically not extraction I guess because there is no reduction

but ethnobotanical drug use is somehow distinct from regular drug use to them
Ethnobotanocals? Poppy secretes a sap full of morphine etc. You can straight up consume right out of the plant amd get high. It's a plant.

Chewing coca leaves...cool right?

Eating morming glory or san pedro and tripping face for 12 hrs? Their rules are oretty inconsistent

Bunch of hippies in denial.

I think it's extraction without concentration of the solution.

During cold water apap extractions nobody concentrates the water at the end...they simply extract hydrocodone from apap into the water then drink it.

If any of you guys could take a few minutes to do this, assuming you're on social media, it would help. We're making a concerted effort to try to boost our presence so we can attract new members and counteract google's blacklisting of us.
dont u have to pay google to be seen?

i use duck duck go, google doesn't show u what you are looking for these days just page after page of adverts but most people seem to use it by default

Do u need to b on pc for voice chat? Or u can do it from the phone app aswell ooo
Nooo!
You can voice chat on the app , some of us prefer that simply because it frees up your computer.

I'll be writing up a guide that will explain how to install and use Discord, and I'll explain how to do so.
:)
The discord server looks promising guys!!!!I had never used discord before but it's a cool application to chat 😎.
Lots of hard work has been involved with getting it operational. It's still early, and some of the other servers have multiple thousands of people that joined, but that's over a couple of years.

So install app, and set it where it can access the mic etc. Because people can call you aswell, as you can call them!

It promises a lot!! Even tho it's on its early stage yet. Keep up the good work!!!

Help me out here guys. Trying to understand how Discord is going to get more people to join and post on the BL forum.

If one has a choice to socialize, gain knowledge and have fun with other members wouldn't people rather talk than type? I would think that more people would prefer the personal touch, voice inflection, sounds of laughing, different accents and just the whole vibe of Discord....versus the non personal vibe of the BL forum.

So if people have a choice I would think that they would log onto Discord and get their BL fix as opposed to logging on here and typing. They might also come here to read threads and stay in touch with members that weren't on Discord but for the most part they would stay on the oral platform versus the written one.

Is it designed to just give people a choice in how they interact with others or to phase out the written word? I can understand that we now have many different outlets to socialize but don't people generally stay where they are familiar. I mean don't people who have twitter accts tend to stay there. Same with IG, Tik Tok, FB.....guess what I m trying to say is : Are we trying to get more people to sign up and post on HERE, or are we just trying to let people know we exist and then letting them decide which platform they want to use.

Won't Discord discourage people from typing on here as opposed to encouraging them ? In other words won't traffic go down instead of up? Guess i am just wondering what the end goal is and what we are trying to accomplish. Is it just awareness through IG, FB, Tik tok et al that we are trying to get people to know we exist or are we trying to get people to make accounts and post on HERE?

Thanks for enlightening me guys. I'm not real social savvy so I am trying to understand what our end goal is here.

I've been in many many positions where I would be at a public library with a bag of drugs in my pocket, unable to connect to Bluelight to see how if any safe way in taking these drugs. BUT there is a fucking Blocker , so the library is preventing me to go to Bluelight. So fuck, what do I do?
Well, the library lets me go to the Quora page, wait, even facebook?
Maybe I can try Discord.
Yay it works!!

So, there is more that goes into the creation of our Social Media departments. We don't just make Discord, or Twitter or w,e. These pages and programs are made within a time period where 95% of our 'younger generation' use these avenues to get their HR from.
Now granted, take what you hear with a grain of salt as in advice, but isnt this the internet in the first place?

Like I said before, Attraction rather then promotion when it comes down to Discord. We want to attract rather then 'come one come all'.

If you build it , they will come.

I agree. I mean, it's a cool app not gonna lie but it's a supplement at best.
Discord is meant to be used as a tool.

We've been having members find out about our Discord and join the forums. Some also tell us about themselves in NMI. With some even donating to MAPS.

Those people might have never known about us if it weren't for our discord

When has a tool ever been more than a supplemental aid to get a job done?

If we get 50 people to join the Bluelight Discord server in a day, then statistically speaking (using our previous discord-forums members).
We will average about half the chance of 100%.
That in which a discord member, will join the Bluelight forums.

I understand it better now. Thx for taking the time to explain it better.

I think there will definitely be some who find the discord that never end up using the forum very much. But there will be just as many or more who will. Either way, we are reaching more people than before.

@Nurse Ratched The Discord is already bringing members here, but it will really start getting us activity once we hit 1000 members on there and are able to apply to get the server added to Discord’s discovery page. This will allow Discord users to search for us, and bring a lot of new users to Bluelight. It will also remind a lot of former users that Bluelight exists. I believe that many still think the site disappeared from when it transitioned from .ru to .org, and many just assume we are long gone or just don’t think about BL much.

If you have a moment, drop down a 5 star review/recommendation on our FB page!

The more the merrier!

All of my experiences with discord have been terrible.
What don't you like about Discord based on your experiences so far? The Bluelight server may be better, but the platform obviously isn't for everybody. Part of the reason Discord exists is for cases of the reverse - Some (particularly younger people) drastically prefer Discord/live chats to forums.
