If you like blended whiskey, Black Velvet is a solid choice. But I somehow doubt it is really exceptional in quality or price and I mainly enjoy it for nostalgic reasons these days. I think I originally gravitated to Black Velvet because it was priced well and usually found in those convenient "pint" bottles.
