Can MDMA speed up feelings of love in a relationship?

I have recently done E with my girlfriend of 2 months and at the time of doing E I did not have feelings of love for her, just an intense like or infatuation.

Doing E together really changed how I feel for her, we talked for 5 hours straight about everything and anything. Now when I kiss her... it feels different than from what it felt like kissing her before we did E together. Has this ever happened to anyone else? The kisses feel very romantic and powerful.

I feel like us doing E together sped up the process of falling in love.. as I am already starting to fall for her.. Does this happen often? And its not like E created feelings.. we already had feelings for each other I just feel like it really really intensified our feelings for each other even after we comedown from the drug.

You know that people start feeling something to each other much more often when they're under heavy stress and they go through it together? This is not a direct answer but...

I went to a dubstep show after taking a third bean while waiting for it to kick in I met a girl who was rolling

2 days later I felt like I lost my soulmate

I'd say yes it can, but I would be really cautious about it. MDMA can also make certain things seem slightly more positive then they are in reality. I am not saying that's going to be case with you, but there you go. I'd say the most important thing in situation like that are the people involved. If a couple are compatible, MDMA just makes things a lot more fun. :D If people aren't chill about each other to start with, no amount of MDMA will help.

I think MDMA also helps people work through their issues much better than they would given the stage of where "things are at"....if you were to be in a room on mdma with a person you've had a conflict with on MDMA, chances are, you'd have compassion for them all of a sudden and hug it out....

Same can be true for a relationship- but nothing really replaces true time. In the long run, MDMA may provide a more intense understanding of another human being, but it won't mean than you know all the in's and out's of what being with that person will be like, all their negative issues, all the things you won't like, all the things you'll have to work through in thje future....

I myself discussed my love for my good friend of 8 years (8 yearrrrs of platonic friendship), and MDMA subsided, but the clarity it provided me of why he was such a great person stayed and stayed. The next day I'd wake up after we would hang out, and I just wanted to hug him and hold him- not in a sexual way, I just felt so in touch with my closeness to his soul, our history, how much we cared etc.

Did it provoke the romantic relationship we are in now? A bit, but it would have happened anyway. MDMA just shined a big light on it for me.

Yes, MDMA can cause intense feelings and bonding experiences for people....

I know that i have facilitated at least 2 relationships due to giving friends molly. Both have turned into loving long term relationships. I know that it has happened to me....

Generally i find that if you meet someone rolling and base a relationship off that, it generally kind of fades after a while. I met a girl while rolling harder than i had in a while, we ended up making out passionatly for a couple of hours. After that we decided to hang out sober and see how we got along because there wasn't much getting to know each other before we were all over each other.

Saw a movie together and when i finally kissed her there was that a feeling that i haven't had with anyone else. Just the rest of the world dissolving away.

That was almost 2 months ago and the more im around her the more that i feel that im falling genuinely in love.

You already got the whole getting to know each other part out of the way on your end, MDMA just allowed you both to open up to each other a lot and that can do a lot for a relationship. Trust is a big part of it and MDMA allows you to show that trust.

Kissing her is just amazinggggg its almost as if we kiss our souls interlock and the rest of the world goes away. Similiar to how it was on E, not as powerful obviously but it still stayed after rolling with her.. the kisses are just different and I am actually falling in love with her

I think that E can help in solidifying relationships. My husband and I always feel super close during and after rolling together. Of course, we felt this way before ever taking E and we feel this way on a normal basis, but while rolling our relationship just... makes all the sense in the world, and that feeling doesn't go away once we're sober.

I think it can help, but it's not going to do all the work for you. A sober understanding and feelings of love for the person is first priority. The E is just a means of letting some of those deep emotions out. :)

Yes I guess that rolling with somebody who could be an s.o. is very likely to lead you into a situation in which that person does effectively become that s.o.
The trouble is that on E you are so boggled by the loveliness of the other person that you might miss drawbacks. In fact E users should be warned about falling in love with the wrong person. New users are particularly vulnerable.
On the other hand if you are already in a long-standing good relationship dropping E together is a wonderful way of bringing back some of the sparkle to the relationship.

Definitely. MDMA was used in marriage counseling around the 80's. The therapists said it packed 6 months worth of therapy into a 4 hour session. Plus, I also have personal experience. I get all lubby dubby when I roll and I tell all the girls im with that they're really pretty and I ask for a kiss :p

It's amazing when you're sober or when you're rolling? How often do you two take pills?

It's an entactogen (I prefer David Nichols terminology) and it messes with some of the most important neurotransmitters in your body. It's just obvious it must have some impact on your feelings towards someone/something. Not like you're going to change your political believes right off after comedown but let's say you came upon that girl and you're conservative and she's a socialist. Is it possible you will turn into a socialist too? Yes, it is.

It just started wondering me if I fell in love with my first girlfriend who I loved very much because there was codeine in my life before I met her. Jesus... But it's impossible, our relationship survived a two-month separation when she left the country. Maybe you should start thinking if this will survive if you abandon this pills taking lifestyle.

I get all lubby dubby when I roll and I tell all the girls im with that they're really pretty and I ask for a kiss

And normally you don't do that? Shame on you! =D

you can definitely feel like you've fallen in love with someone after you take e. i know i have fallen in love with a girl i met at a rave one night- only to realize later that i didnt really know anything about her and was not really in love with her. not that e cant just increase or make more obvious feelings that have already been going on within for a long time. it is great because you can get to learn a lot more about someone than you would have without rolling.

just make sure you still have the feelings after not being on drugs for a while. i know i was hung up on that girl for the better part of a week or so.

Almost a year ago a i met the love of my life. About one month and ten days after i met her i took her to rave and i had a pocket full of blue batmans which are super clean MDMA pills. Well to make along story short i was rollin she was rollin and in my mind at that moment i wanted to tell her that i loved her. I didnt act on my impulse to tell her i loved because i wanted to make sure that after i was sober, my feeling were the same. I didnt want to say "i love you" when i was rollin because i wanted to make sure that it was real. So probably a few weeks later i knew i was in love with her so i said it sober and i meant it!

MDMA can speed up feelings of love, to me MDMA just enlightened me as it has knack to do this very well. Just make sure that you wait until you have had time to think about it not under the influence of this "love drug".

P.S. Me and my girl are still together to this day almost a year later. Our love is real. We still love rollin together ;)

It can help alot. Me and my girlfriend sadly broke up a few weeks ago, long story but we have been hanging out still alot, still talk all the time, still kiss, still basically everything as if we were together. And we both arent great at talking about stuff, but on mdma we've like reconnected and worked through alot of the things that were messing things up between us. Hopefully this weekend were going to be able to roll together again. Hoping work through more stuff so eventually if im lucky we can be back together

I think it can help get a lot of tough issues which talkng about them normally would seem too awkward and us unable to get the true dark shit out. Both me and my grilfriend have had very different but both troubled childhoods, we managed to talk each other through it all one night when rolling together and basically help each other live on to live each day better.

However for speeding up love I'd say be careful, if you need MDMA to make things fun everytime and can't stand a night together without it then thee is a problem.

MDMA (indirectly) releases a lot of oxytocin, a hormone that promotes emotional bonding.

Oxytocin is believed to be the main cause of that wonderful 'falling madly in love' feeling we often get with a new partner, and is released during orgasm, breast feeding, and even simply from physical contact (hugging, holding, etc.)

So yes, MDMA can definitely produce emotional bonding. In some cases that can be a very good thing (strengthening relationships), although it can also be a problem (causing inappropriate bonding, such as with somebody who isn't healthy to be with and who your better judgment would normally keep you away from.)

This. This is what's happened to me. It's horrible. Feeling compassion for someone you know you shouldn't. It sucks knowing that you wouldn't feel the way you do if you weren't under the influence of drugs. Rationalizing why you feel so strongly for someone barely helps. I decided I want to try and be more secluded from now on. I don't want to roll with people I don't already have established relationships with. Before, I would be happy to roll with any new person I thought was cool. Now, I just don't want to deal with more emotional trauma. I was one of the children of the sun, now I'm just a rambling, eccentric fool.

MDMA was originally used (and still) for psychologists and couple counselors because it got tpeople to open up. It was very legal untill it hit the street and it was used EXACTLY for what you are referring too.
