Fair enough comment, but to be honest I do not find any aesthetic appeal to any social platforms. The only others I use are Facebook, which is my primary photo album and easiest way to contact many people, but as nothing more. It is functional enough for all my rave and holiday snaps but having next to no life means that the last additions were made to my profile 3 years ago. I also youe Stack Exchange, but again I just like the straight functionality and the high standard of user content provision - nothing on the net would ever come across as shiny to me as a kick ass gorgeous and deeply playable computer game, whetter high end PC or current gen console or combine with nostlgia, classic platforms which by 1991 were able to reproduce arcade quality experiences.
This just looks tidier than it used to, so far even as someone as inept as I am at contemporary computing (which Is why I own a Playstation 4) has been able to find my way around with ease (so far) and compared to something such as reddit (I had the misfortune of having to read for a period of a couple moths a couple of years ago due to an ongoing high profile campaign of hate against the site and all of its members, both Bluelighters and volunteers) which is just a fuckibg mess in every respect, rubbish content just listed piece by piece (although a couple of the drug specific forums I have recently lurked in do appear to at least present some social integrity thanks to a siginificant amount of both intelligent content and those less informed who none the less are genuinely in search of common sense , with what can only be effective moderation supporting these areas. It is still less 'aesthetically' pleasing that any other platform I have seen and I just prefer Bluelight simple method of starting a conversation than passing (and occasionally throwing) the conch at other members.
I am just glad that we have a site that seems to me, clear to use, with all our old content. It's not falling to bits and I hear it finally works properly on mobile phones (I have never used the mobile more than 2 or 3 occasions while waiting in the car for drugs as I did not start this acct. until I had given up driving and institutionalised as an MMT patient and do all my internetting from a normal computer .
