Stimulants Meth Bubbler?

So I was wondering if anyone really smokes much out of a bong/bubbler? I purchased one recently and thought it doesn't hit that great. Not like the one I smoked out of at a friend's house. I've added water, an ive removed water. Any ideas or suggestions? Thanks in advance!
 
I'm not a frequent stimulant smoker, and I've probably smoked far more synthetic cathinones than methamphetamine, but generally smoking stimulants through water seems cleaner and smoother. Less lung irritation and etc. Additionally it allowed me to take much bigger, far more dense hits.

But then again I'm not in the business of using smoked stimulants on a daily basis so my use of them is not efficient. I remember my tweaker friend saying, "dude why are you taking such big hits, you're wasting it". With smoked stimulants i tend to go for narcotic sized doses, ones where you're aren't really stimulated anymore. The water pipe facilities it.

With smoked meth eventually you essentially feel like you're floating, light takes on this weird fluorescent quality, there is sort of a choppy frame rate alteration in your vision. It's kind of creepy, not a euphoric as crack. Was never a big meth fan. Oddly i never tried smoking crack out of a water pipe. It seems to solidify too quickly.

I try to avoid smoking stimulants generally, it goes downhill fast (no pun intended).

welcome to BL! hurrah! i am so not knowing, but i know you will get great advises, but thats ucky stuff (the stupid shit i used i think was worse), but to each their own, just hope you stop using , i saw a photo of an intensely trippy meth bong /pipe here, best o luck!
 
It's a trade off really. Bongs/bubblers... water filtration pipes in general, are really ubiquitous in the world of Marijuana, obviously, but THC is a different chemical than Methamphetamine, with majorly different properties, namely in regard to their respective solubility in water. It's known that when you smoke Marijuana through water, you will lose some, small fraction of Cannabinoids to the water.

Methamphetamine on the other hand, is highly soluble in water and this is well-known. I can't tell you how much or rather, what the effectiveness is of this method in regard to Meth. It's like when you only have a very, very tiny amount of bud to smoke, you might get a more efficient smoke from a less complex piece like a chillum. I think the same is probably true of Methamphetamine in that you lose some to the water, but also, the bigger hits are going to lead to a faster rise in blood levels.

I really think it's a matter of choice and one probably isn't that much better thatn the other.
 
Personally I only use an Ice bong as ROA, Sweetpuffs just cannot provide me with the rush, but I've never IV'd. Fortunately I have the capability & equipment to produce my own bongs & glassware.

To answer your question,
I would say the main differences between the 2 set ups you have tried is the size of the "venturies", or if you like all the passages that the air/vapourized gear travels through, from the hole where you put the gear in the bowl, until it reaches your lips.
Some of the cheap Asian imported rigs I've seen and used over here have very small passageways, which is a restriction on air flow. And as I said I don't know what set ups you've been using, but the size of the holes/passages definitely matters.

This is basically how make mine.
Over here in Australia, Red Bull comes in a 330ml aluminium bottle, that will become the chamber.
I used to Dremel holes in glass bottles to put the stem through, this is much simpler.
Then I will blow an extra long stemmed sweetpuff out of 10x2mm boro glass that has 3 or 4 bends in the stem so it fits through the hole & into the chamber, and reaches to the bottom. Punch a step drill through the can at the bottom of the neck, add a rubber through grommet, insert glassware, done.
The hole size where your drop the gear into the bowl, in all my "research" needs to be decent sized, like 3/8 - 7/16 inch, this increases air flow to give a much more desirable user experience....

I must also add,

But getting out the Dremel at 3 AM on day 2 of a bender and using every single tip from the diamond drill to the felt polisher to make a smoking apparatus from random household items when you break your pipe is one of the most awesome joys of tweakerdom.

Between 8 hours of working on a lighglobe bong and 8 hours of a Pornhub fapfest I wouldn’t know what to choose.
 
Meth is water soluble when in crystal form but I have heard that as a gas/vapour it is not water soluble. Maybe someone with more chemistry knowledge could clear this up

Some meth is absorbed by the water but what's left is cooler and much denser allowing more per lungful
 
Is there a trick to smoking it from a water bong? Maybe I'm so used to rolling the pipe that when I have the oil-burner water bong in hand it's like I start loosing my shit because I cannot roll it.
So how to I keep from burning my shit? Same principle as the pipe & puddle? Or is there something totally else.

Btw I've been using Minute Maids 'Pink-Lemonade' as in place of the water in the bong and it's pretty fucking amazing.
 
I have an entire thread about this when I asked the same question a while back lol. My fave to smoke out of is a little waxmaid bong I have that also has the proper attachment for dabz

When you use a bubbler you really want to be using a spirit burner with a tiny flame. You wave the burner in under the bowl and out again slowly and the meth follows the flame and plumes without burning

I literally just left the upstars though and want to sleep tonight.
I've got quite a few dab rigs and bongs arround, but some styles just do not lend to rolling thw bowl - the way I like to at least. Generally, anythibg with a hose becomes much easier


How quickly the dope will smoke, or the temp it'll smoke at, has a lot to do with how well a given waterpipe will function for me, they're all I use anymore. Must just be an artifact of cuts/impurities... I have only ever seen the same two products from two different options I have, but I am a bit pessamsitic to venture to new options.
I try to keep a variety of glass thickness' oil burner attachments in the house, clean and in good condition.
Spirit burner for the thinner glassware or at least to save lighters. Be careful and please be sure keep it attended.
Smaller rigs, in theory, hit the bloodstream quicker without all that air to inahle before your actual hit, it's the reason most dab rigs sre similiar sizes. Larger waterpipes seem to work better for me with small torches used attentively with thicker glassware.
Slightly damp rag. NOT WET. Even I fuck up on this one time to time. I cracked a piece I liked not long ago and I seem to get little minor fissures on some pieces, but maybenim trippin... Oh, I've always thought another luquid with a lower boiling point might help prevent this cracking, maybe alcohol?
Medical grade silicone tubing to fit over pipe stems, put the itger end in your bongs downstem and tgere ya go.
