As someone who suffers from chronic loneliness (sometimes even in a room full of people), I found this documentary to be really insightful and it actually made me feel less alone. I realize I often use BL to connect to others (albeit it is technically social media); but I don't feel judged here and feel I can truly be myself. It can't replace irl human connection, but I often find solace here amongst my BL peeps. It's worth a watch I think and may help others who are feeling the same. It made me feel like I am less "defective and broken," in spite of my mental, physical health and addiction issues.

American Conspiracy; The Octopus Murders.

...about an Octopus turned CIA operative, that kills on command.

...well, not really.
It's a retrospective, story re. a brave, journalist (his uncovering of nefarious corporate, government & crime intersections in the 70s-80s) whose suspicious, death, led to this doc. On Netflix but threads wained. Fair few good docs on there atm though, imho.

This is a good 'cliff-note' podcast (spoiler obviously.), convo with director & producer, delving into story.
