that seems to be among the most pertinent reminders that I myself am getting older

seeing the people I watch in TVs and movies getting older themselves

it's almost as if your mind immortalizes them in time in that movie, then you see them older and you realize they are just as mortal as you

This is a great reply its what i feel. Does not seem all those years ago he was in GoodFellas where he was younger than me. My uncle raised me in all the great 60s and 70s bands but my concert going time was the grunge and it was only the other day i found out Mark lanegan died like F.U.B.A.R said it reminds me they not much older then me .
